Nao Dance Collective is capable of touring individual Repertory Pieces and Productions all year round.  Please contact us to schedule a Nao Dance Collective performance at your venue.


In School Residency:

Host a creative movement workshop in which participants learn skills in choreography, storytelling, artistic expression, critical thinking and confidence-building. Nao Dance Collective works towards inspiring young people to be creative and express themselves freely. Nao Dance Collective will be housed at a School or University offering daily master classes, community outreach extensions and perform original repertory.

Companies, Schools and individuals can commission a selection from the Nao Dance Collective repertory or custom performances and movement workshops of any length. Alice Takes Wonderland

Presenting a contemporary twist on the well-known classic Alice in Wonderland,Nao Dance Collective explores the fragile transitional period between childhood and adulthood in this fanciful, thought-provoking tale about metamorphosis and self-discovery.  With engaging improvisational choreography, original scores, live accompaniment and a powerful message, Alice Takes Wonderland explores what it means to ‘grow up’ by taking a sentimental look at the value of childhood.  Suitable for all ages. 

Urge

Will you bite from the forbidden fruit? Or will you resist the Urge of temptation? With the choice of good or evil brought to life on stage by the artists of Nao Dance Collective, our audience must brace themselves for a whirlwind journey of understanding, decision-making, and revelation. From the seducing tug of Lust to the lackadaisical fall of Sloth, the Urge Production represents its many obstacles through the use of 6 to 10 foot props including the table of Wrath and the swing of Envy. As the child of our story learns of the goodness and evil of life, she finds that only she can decide what's right and wrong. This production will push its way into your innermost thoughts and desires; by taking this journey with us, you will leave the theatre with no less than the Urge for more.
